I recently searched for a very firm seat cushion to relieve the stress on my back muscles and tailbone when I sit for long periods of time flying across the country on those ancient 30 yr old airline seats. I purchased this cushion and 2 other competitors to try at home prior to taking this cushion on my last last trip. The cushion was fantastic. I will never fly again without it - in fact, I am using it at home on a few chairs to provide firmer support. This cushion fits perfectly within the airline seat area, provides great firm support, does not compress or fatigue while in use (I am a big guy), and its handle is very convenient when de-boarding; I am very pleased with the solid blue color. I plan to buy a second cushion soon. I am very hard to please and this cushion is Best in Class! Kudos to the designer and company.
Works great for hip pain March 30, 2007

I have pain in my hip when I sit for any length of time. It is due to arthritis in my spine. The cushion reduces the pressure on the bottom of my spine so I can sit without pain. I bought another one for my car.

This pillow was great help during the healing of my cocyx bone. The wider cushion was a great fit in the car seat, too.

I weigh 220 lbs. and this FIRM version for coccyx support is a life saver. I use it EVERYday and at night I use the gel fleece product (not listed here). Don't buy a cheaper product. i bought them all. You need THIS one.
This is my second review, ever. The first was for the gel fleece product.
THIS FIRM cushion does the trick: office, car, dining room table, computer desk, stadium. Don't hurt yourself anymore when you sit......

I ordered a large/firm Tush Cush for my car. I own an older car and the seats are very uncomfortable, especially since I had developed numbness in my right leg (due to back problems). The cushion makes me sit up higher in the seat, and I had to get used to that, but from day ONE, I have loved this cushion. I can get out of the car with such ease now and my leg has stopped hurting. It really helps with the discomfort when dealing with a bad back. The cushion is very firm (but not hard), so if you weigh under 175, a person might would like the regular Tush Cush.
